UNA NUOVA TAVOLA NATALIZIA / A NEW CHRISTMAS TABLE

Buonasera nostri Cari Lettori! I Grandi giorni di Festa si avvicinano sempre di più e cosi anche le nostri menti si proiettano al da farsi che accompagnerà quei giorni..Esiste però, un solo momento che rende partecipe ogni membro della famiglia e che rende questo Periodo più che Magico..sapete qual'è?? E'il momento in cui bsogna apparecchiare la 'tavola' per le feste..Tovaglie, Candelabri, posate, caraffe,piatti, tovaglioli..ciascuna di queste cose ci ricorda che il Momento di Festa da condividere con le persone a noi più care..è arrivato!Bene! Ecco che noi di Antiquariato Ferilli abbiam pensato di arricchire questo Natale 2013 con una Tavola nuova, che respiri di moderno, di antico e di Vintage!!

UNA DOLCE O SALATA PIETANZA SONORA!! A FRESH OR SALT DISH SOUND!!

Buona Domenica e Buona Immacolata nostri cari lettori! Oggi ci addentreremo nella storia di un bellissimo quanto raro oggetto. Oggetto che abbiamo annoverato nella nostra 'PAST GIFT LIST' pubblicata nel post precedente. Bene. Guardiamo insieme queste immagini..

Cosa percepite guardando queste foto?Cosa pensate che sia a prima vista? Una Lastra? Una base quadrata in legno con centrale dipinto?
Ci state pensando su? Passiamo alla soluzione... .. avete presente i Sottopentola che quotidianamente usiamo per evitare che i nostri tavoli si rovinino con il calore delle pentole? Bene..questo bellissimo oggetto non è altro che un SottoPentola della fine del 1800 che, a differenza  dei nostri, non solo si presenta come un raffinato oggetto d'arredo ma ingloba in sè la rara caratteristica  di avere alla propria base un carillon a doppia suoneria.  La Storia CI narra che, le pietanze una volta pronte  venivano posizionate su di essa e subito dopo veniva attivato il carillon per avvisare i commensali che il pasto era pronto! Che dire? Il Passato ci affascina continuamente.. Well .. this beautiful object is nothing more than a trivet of the end 1800's that unlike our not only looks like a fine piece of furniture but in itself encompasses the rare feature of having at its base a double chime ring tone. History has it that the dishes once prepared were placed on it and was activated immediately after the chime to alert diners that the meal was ready! What can I say? THE ANTIQUE CHRISTMAS GIFT LIST ... ..

DUE SECOLI DI STORIA RACCHIUSI IN UN PIATTO / TWO CENTURIES OF HISTORY ENCLOSED IN A PLATE

Sapevate che..solo all'inizio del 1800 il Piatto diventa oggetto di uso comune sulla tavola di tutti e di tutti i giorni??
Ebbene si!!Prima del '700, infatti, era raro che i commensali avessero ciascuno un piatto e spesso il cibo veniva consumato direttamente da taglieri e grandi vassoi da portata.
Durante il '700, invece, il Piatto individuale è inizialmente in argento e più tardi in porcellana, ma resta quasi sempre un prodotto riservato alle classi più nobili.
Ed è proprio nel 1800, quindi, che la diffusione della ceramica prodotta in serie fa la sua fortuna attraverso un gran numero di oggetti d'uso domestico e decorativo dove il PIATTO  diventa quel prodotto realizzato in un maggior numero di pezzi e di varianti, per essere usato in tavola, come decorazione o come oggetto ricordo.
 
Interessante ed affascinante pensare che dietro ad un oggetto che circonda la nostra quotidianeità come un semplice PIATTO ..si nascondano ben due secoli di storia!! ALDILA' DI UN EX VOTO / BEYOND AN EX VOTE

Aldilà di un Ex Voto ... ..si riscopre l'Uomo Attuale!

Quale significato si nasconde dietro l'espressione 'Ex Voto'? Attraverso quali forme si svilupperà nel corso dei secoli? Esiste ancora oggi un legame tra l'Uomo Votivo del passato e l'Uomo Votivo del presente?

Avventuriamoci insieme alla scoperta di tutte queste informazioni.

Bene. Partiamo affermando che,  La Formula 'Ex Voto' deriva dal latino ed indica Un obbligo che l'Uomo liberamente assumeva con la Divinità.  Obbligo materiale, che veniva assunto o per grazia ricevuta o in adempimento ad una promessa fatta.

COSA SI NASCONDE DIETRO UN CALAMAIO ? / WHAT IS HIDING BEHIND AN INKWELL ?

Sono passati ben 1000 anni, da quando qualcuno pensò di usare una penna d'oca, intinta in un bicchierino pieno di inchiostro chiamato Calamaio per poter scrivere. Da allora il Calamaio divenne uno strumento essenziale nella vita di Bambini, Scrivani e Signori dell'epoca.

 It's been 1000 years since someone decided to use a quill, dipped in a shot glass full of ink ,called Inkwell, to write. Since then, the Inkwell became an essential tool in the lives of children, Scribes and the Lords.


Bisognerà però attendere altri 200 anni per l'invenzione dei pennini che verranno inseriti in un manico di legno e che andranno a sostituire le precedenti piume d'oca.

L'Evoluzione dell'uomo non si arresta.. e si arriva nel 1827 alla Penna Stilografica che deve il suo merito ad un giovane studente Rumeno di nome Petrache Poenaru.

Ultima tappa? '1943' un giornalista ed inventore ungherese di nome  Làszlò Jòzsef Bìrò brevetta la prima Penna a Sfera (creata in realtà negli ultimi anni '30). Si narra che, la sua intuizione sia nata osservando alcuni bambini che giocavano a biglie sulla strada.

 Last stop? '1943 'An Hungarian journalist and inventor named Jòzsef László Bíró patents the first Ballpoint Pen (actually created in the last 30s). It is said that, his intuition was born watching some children playing marbles on the way.
