Partiamo con l'Art Deco':
Il nome 'Art Decò' deriva dall' Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, Esposizione internazionale di arti decorative e industriali moderne, tenutasi a Parigi nel 1925 e che segna l'affermazione del nuovo stile 'DECO', stile che si estenderà sino al 1940.
L'Art Decò ispirandosi al classico, rilancia l'idea di linee stilizzate e geometriche, adoperando unicamente la linea come creatrice di forme originali, senza ricorrere mai alla decorazione nella struttura del mobile.
E' doveroso sostenere però che, si è soliti dividere i sostenitori del Decò in due filoni principali: i ''Tradizionalisti' e i 'Progressisti', gli uni che mantengono legami con i secoli passati, conservando una certa flessuosità (o flessibilità) della forma e gli altri che creano mobili più semplici con spiccate caratteristiche funzionali. Nonostante i pezzi fabbricati dai Tradizionalisti risentano di maggiore suggestione e abbiano una squisita raffinatezza, sono i mobili prodotti dai Progressisti a rappresentare meglio gli intenti degli architetti dell'epoca.

Let's start with the Art Deco ':
The name 'Art Deco' derives from 'Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts held in Paris in 1925 and marks the success of the new style' DECO 'style that will extend until to 1940.
The Art Deco' inspired by the classic, raised the idea of geometric and stylized lines, using only the line as the creator of the original forms, without ever resorting to the decoration in the structure of the cabinet.
It's'duty to support, however, that it is customary to divide the supporters of Deco in two main areas: the'' Traditionalists' and 'Progressive', the ones who maintain ties with the past centuries, preserving a certain suppleness (or flexibility) of the form and other furniture that create more simple with strong functional characteristics. Despite the pieces manufactured by the Traditionalists affected more suggestive and have a exquisite refinement, is the furniture produced by the Progressives to better represent the intentions of the architects of the time.
