Buongiorno Carissimi Lettori! Come promesso, oggi il nostro Blog inizierà a fornirvi pillole di storia anche sugli Arredi del Passato e lo farà partendo dalla storia del Mobile Bar anni '40, di cui vi abbiamo parlato nel post precedente..

Bene..Avete mai visto un mobile bar d'epoca? O meglio sapevate dell'esistenza di un mobile simile?  Avventuriamoci insieme alla sua scoperta...

Esattamente nel 1920 con l'introduzione della moda del 'Cocktail Party' si diffonde questo nuovo tipo d'arredo chiamato  appunto 'Mobile Bar' e  caratterizzato da contenitori per il ghiaccio e sportelli stipati di bottiglie e caraffe. 

Destinato a custodire gli strumenti necessari per la preparazione dei Cocktail, il mobile bar è munito di scaffali e alloggi per le bottiglie. 

All'esterno poteva assumere forme tradizionali mentre all'interno si presentava come un mobile modernissimo e raffinato con legni esotici, luci e pareti a specchio.  

Inoltre, solo a partire dagli anni '30, le ditte che operavano nella fascia alta del mercato, si sarebbero poi specializzate nella produzione di questi mobili di lusso in legni pregiati.

Da notare un altro Raffinato Esemplare  presente nella foto in alto, progettato da H & L Hepstein nel 1930 in noce con gambe molto fini ed all'interno con un bar completo di scaffali e specchi.

As promised, today our Blog will begin to provide  pills of the story also on furniture of the past and will do so starting with the history of the Bar Cabinet '40s, of which we have writed in the previous post ..Well .. Have you ever seen an antique Bar Cabinet? Or better do you know the existence of a similar furniture? Let's venture together with the discovery of this beautiful item ..Exactly in 1920 with the introduction of the fashion of the ' Cocktail Party ' spreads this new kind of furniture called  ' Bar Cabinet ' and characterized by ice trays and counters crammed with bottles and jugs .Intended to preserve the necessary tools for the preparation of cocktails , the bar cabinet is fitted with shelves for bottles and accommodation .While the outside might take traditional forms , inside was a modern and stylish furniture with exotic woods , lights and mirrored walls .Soon , the companies that were operating at the high end of the market, they would specialize in the production of these luxury furniture in precious woods .Note the beautiful specimen in the photo above , designed by H & L Hepstein in 1930 in walnut with very fine legs and inside with a bar complete with shelves and mirrors.
