Bentrovati Carissimi Lettori! Voglia di tornar fanciulli? Quest'oggi lo faremo trattando un argomento molto interessante..oggi parleremo di GIOCATTOLI ed in particolare di quelli in Latta..

Bene..Trattando i Giocattoli non possiamo certo parlare di Antiquariato in senso stretto, visto che gli Esemplari collezionabili non risalgono a prima dell'ultimo ventennio dell'Ottocento e giungono fino agli anni Settanta del Novecento, ma possiamo parlare comunque di oggetti di grande rilevanza per il mercato collezionistico.. Tanto che Giocattoli integri, di grande rarità e con la loro scatola originaria, raggiungono valori elevati!

Well.. Treating the Toys we can not talk about antiques in the strict sense, because the collectible specimens not date back to before the last two decades of the nineteenth century and come up to the seventies of the twentieth century, but in any case we can speak of objects of great significance for the collector market .. So much so that Toys intact, of great rarity and with their original box, reach high values!

I GIOCATTOLI DI LATTA / THE TIN TOYS:

I Giocattoli di Latta ( acciaio ricoperto di stagno) sono quelli di maggior diffusione, frutto della Rivoluzione Industriale. 

 

The Tin Toys (tin-coated steel) are the most widespread, the result of the Industrial Revolution.

Divennero COMUNI quando la produzione in serie e l'evoluzione nella lavorazione dei metalli permisero la costruzione di giocattoli a basso costo, pur trattandosi in molti casi di oggetti complessi. Grandissima è la varietà dei soggetti, con una tendenza alla miniaturizzazione degli strumenti del mondo adulto, come automobili, moto, treni, navi, soldatini, macchine varie.

It became COMMON when the mass production and the evolution in metalworking allowed the construction of cheap toys, although it is in many cases of complex objects. Great is the variety of subjects, with a trend towards miniaturization of the instruments of the adult world, such as cars, motorcycles, trains, ships, soldiers, various machines.

Tipici sono i colori vivaci, che fino al 1890 venivano dati con verniciature a mano, mentre da questa data in poi furono ottenuti con la stampa litografica. Questa tecnica consisteva nello stampare un disegno su un rullo di caucciù per poi trasferirlo sulla latta. Dai primi anni del '900.. la latta stagnata diventa più sottile e il metodo di assemblaggio cambia grazie all'introduzione delle linguette eliminando cosi le lunghe operazioni di saldatura e permettendo un ulteriore abbassamento dei costi. 

Typical are the bright colors, which until 1890 were given with paint by hand, but from this date onwards were obtained with the lithographic printing. This technique consisted of printing a design on a rubber roller and then transfer it to the tin. From the early years of the 1900s .. the tinplate becomes thinner and the assembly method changes with the introduction of the tabs, eliminating thus the long welding operations and allowing a further reduction in costs.

  
La Produzione su larga scala, con distribuzione a livello mondiale, si ebbe in Germania alla fine del 1800, mentre in precedenza la produzione era rivolta soprattutto a un mercato interno. Alla Germania, che detenne sempre il primato, si affiancarono la Francia e l'Inghilterra. La ditta più famosa era la 'Marklin' in particolare negli anni 1880-1915, seguita dalla 'Bing' anch'essa tedesca, che emerse soprattutto nel primo decennio del Novecento.

The Production on a large scale, with worldwide distribution, there was in Germany at the end of 1800s, whereas previously, the production was directed mainly to the domestic market. Germany held the record ever and to her were joined France and England.
